Yes....you read right.....when a company makes 10 billion dollars.....that means the government tookin 8 billion aditional dollars in tax revanue....

I forgot that Big Oil is the source of all of our problems. How dare they make money off the product they sell! It all needs to be given to the government so they can give it to everyone who makes under $100,000! Then we can all be rich and happy and never have to work.

I can't handle logic, reason and facts.

Now, I realize this might seem pompus to say that I, or the right, knows the answers....kind of the same thing the left is proclaiming now. There is only one catch in this logic- Facts support conservative argument, feelings support liberal arguments.

When the two sides try to work together, it does not happen because feelings get in the way of reason and feelings stop progess.

Take global warming for instance- It is a fallacy that it has anthropogenic causes. It is fallacy (and arrogance) that we know what the earth should do. We don't control it and cant control it. Liberals want to pass legislation costing trillions of dollars and millions of jobs while at the same time raping the earth of its natural beauty (windmill farms, solar panel farms..). Conservatives, on the other hand, understand it is a fallacy and work on ways to improve efficiency as opposed to passing laws that make one feel good and cost money but get nothing done.

There's more to economic prosperity than tax policy. We live in a Global econamy and we have to compete, we do not need big Gov in the way of our innovation and production. I.E Environmental laws and other regs.

Samsung shipyard have been building ships wide open for years, how many have we built.?

OH- Speaking of oil companies.

Nevermind the insane taxes they pay Exxon alone paid something like 27 billion last year..

The greedy assed government gets 40some odd cents for every gallon of diesel sold and 13-20some cents for every gallon of gas sold. Would someone like to do the math on that? Hmm


Government should NEVER be growing, it should ALWAYS be shrinking- Gov't needs to provide defense of the country and verry little else. Sadly we've gotten way far away from that.

How about all the dimwitted senators, congressmen and even mr. obummer give up their salaries for a few yrs as well as all the benefits. Make it a public service like it used to be as opposed to the lucrative pocket padding fiasco gov't has become.

Everyone is entitled to their own views. The sad part is that people actually had the nerve to boo Laura Bush. That goes to show that the die hard left wing socialist have absolutely no class. What a shame. I did'nt vote for Obama but I wish him well. I am damn sure not going to bad mouth the man or his family just because.

For anyone to be so disrespectful and hateful towards any president shows their true lack of integrity and American fiber.

The only other thing I can say about Obama is "Boys lock up your guns 'cause they'll be coming for them soon".

agreed that the man....his family....and the presidential office should ALWAYS be respected and saluted.....

That said i WILL NOT support, agree with, or stop speaking out about any public servants beliefs, actions, or agenda's untill THEY prove that thier history and statements are not what they plan to do. According to Obama's history of voting and statements in his campain we are in for a WORLD of hurt. I am just taking the man at his work. I do aggree that his family is OFF LIMITS unless they step into the political forefront and give poltical reasons to question them ......but the libs will complain about that after bashing the bush's...
