Obama and Biden
The Next Vice President
Michael -- I have some important news that I want to make official. I've chosen Joe Biden to be my running mate. Joe and I will appear for the first time as running mates this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois -- the same place this campaign began more than 19 months ago. I'm excited about hitting the campaign trail with Joe, but the two of us can't do this alone. We need your help to keep building this movement for change. Please let Joe know that you're glad he's part of our team. Share your personal welcome note and we'll make sure he gets it: Thanks for your support, Barack He has chosen one of the most liberal of all time. |

I was reading where biden is a big supporter of the UN and I thought obama was for change , he wanted to get away from the DC insiders, hell biden has been there for 36 years!. As bad as biden dogged obama in the campaign I am surprised he picked him. Bidens words will come back to haunt obama.

I think he is the worst choice. Heck Craig he could have picked your Senator Chet Edwards and done better.

I agree, for someone who runs on change and attacks McCain for being basically "old Washington," he sure chose an interesting running mate. |

Im willing to bet he and his advisors thought he had to pick old washington. They probably figured that if he picked a running mate that had little experience like himself, he had no chance of getting in.

Sheriff Joe in Maricopa county, Az. is responsible for more population and land mass than Biden.

Here are some of his gaffes, what a moron.

None of the democrats wanted Biden for Pres. What does he bring to the table as VP candidate? I got this Biden quote off CNN's website (so it may be true).
In Their Own Words This is not about experience. It's not about change. It's about action. Who among us is going to be able to, on Day 1, step in and end the war? -- at the November 15 CNN Democratic debate |
