I am on my lunch break and just ran across this. Has anyone else heard anything about it? It sounds like it was really cool.

Rush and Hannity both covered it on their radio shows. Apparently, C-SPAN
is set up contractually to cover all procedings. Pelosi figured she'd turn off
the power, lights, microphones, etc, and C-SPAN would be unable to let
the populace see the shenanigans the Dems were pulling today.


Didn't work. Lights back on, and their still talking for all I know.

We need President Bush to call them back from their vacation to deal
with the much-needed Energy legislation.

Pelosi is nothing but political monkey. She doesn't give a rats azz about the people of this country or her constituents. She just likes things to be her way. Screw her and all democrat fish eatin friends. How dare she turn the lights off on someone still in the chamber. Could you imagine if a republican did that?

That is good stuff. they need to be doing more things like this to show the American people who DOES care about whats going on. Sure wish they could've held out for a little bit more time, like the weekend maybe....THAT would've got some national coverage
