Are Your Tires Inflated?

Another great solution to the energy problem from the mouth of Obama.
He says for us to solve the energy crisis we need to "inflate our tires and do a tune up".

That should save several thousand barrels of oil.

I think his head is in the right place to be looking for it. Or maybe his head is in the wrong place.

I think it was more crazy than that! I think he implied that if we all inflated
our tires properly, we would SAVE as much oil as we could obtain if they
permitted off-shore drilling.

Well maybe that would work, if you usually drive around with your tires inflated to 2psi?

Yeah. It was a particularly silly thing for him to say.

I think he meant to tell us to inflate our tire with Nitrogen.

There's a Mobile lube shop near my house that has this on the marque : "Fight recession, inflate your tires with nitrogen!"

How is that supposed to help? BTW, they are charging $39.95 to inflate your tires with Nitrogen.

I think Obama has already visited that shop!

That's how you fight recession. The NEW economic stimulas plan.
Pay $39.95 to inflate your tires. At least, it works for the filling
stations.
