anyone else noticed this or is it just me
Ok for at least seven years now we have all been referring to the al quada leader as Osama Bin laden.. however now when you watch the different news broadcasting stations they are now talking about Usama bin laden... Does this by chance have anything to do with one of our presidential candidates name being eerily similar to that of this particular terroist..
i just find it rather amusing that for some 7 odd years we have been referring to him as Osama bin Laden and now they are saying its Usama not Osama. all because of someones last name and trying not to link the two together as easily? just wandering if anyone else was seeing this as well |

Usama has been used all along, I think that is how he spells it and osama is the westernized version, but I may be wrong.

Yea I've seen different variations of his name. It's common

I was just a little curious about this because it seems like there for a long time it was osama.. but the westernization of the name does make sense.. didnt really think about it that way
