I love this quote in the story: To justify economic inequalities, a person could support the idea of meritocracy, in which people supposedly move up their economic status in society based on hard work and good performance. Isn't it amazing that some people think they are entitled to something they dont have because someone else has it and that same person that wants it has done nothing to achieve or deserve it. They think it should just be given to them because Johnny down the street has one. ![]() It doesn't matter to him that Johnny took the time to get a decent education and has learned the rules of the real world and actually works to pay for the things he needs and wants.
