Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue
Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the
Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process
For becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to
Illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the
Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's
Provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United
States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a

$2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a
Good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started
Before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay
Taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two
Years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way
That I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an
Excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in
2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local
Emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped
Paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could
Save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter
Would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school
Applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges
Throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden
Of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car
Insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still
Have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become
Illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms,
I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

In Arizona they are trying to get the Illegal Aliens back in the state after they kicked them out because the economy lost so much money. Most of the money lost was in construction and hospitality and a few others because of trouble hiring. I would like to say "to bad live with it" but there is no happy medium. Tough situation that needs an even more difficult solution.

There are jobs these days that many so called "americans" won't do.. or at least won't do for a wage that is reasonable to the job.

They have found that it's easier to live on welfare, than to do these strenuous, or dirty jobs.

While I dislike illegals, many of the immigrants coming to this country have no such problem with working hard, or doing a job that might get them dirty, stinky, etc.

I wish we would control our border. I also wish we would force the lazy slackers who are riding the welfare system back into the work force. If we did, we would have far less need for migrant workers.

Was speaking to a client of mine yesterday he told me he buys his meat from a mexican meat market (client is pakistani), the butcher asked how many kids he has he told him three, and the butcher who is mexican replied that he needs more kids because he is not working the "system" correctly.
This beats all I've heard, makes me want to correct the "system" with a little southern style justice.

That's unreal. I'm so glad I'm in the north cause I'd be PI$$ED if that sh!t was going on in my backyard. i know it effects everyone but still. This is getting out of hand, everything is.

I hate it when I hear politicians say "Immigrants do jobs Americans won't" and we still have a welfare program. End all of the welfare benefits, get your butt out on the pavement and get a job. That job doesn't pay enough????? Better get a second job to make ends meet. Lord knows I wasn't too good to work 2 jobs to cover my expenses when I had to.

Gotta love what liberalism has done for this nation. And now the grand poobah of liberals is running for president. God help us.
