Gotta love what liberalism has done for this nation. And now the grand poobah of liberals is running for president. God help us.

Thats just pablum the insidious a$$holes have shoved down our throats. We are gullable enough as a nation to sit back and take it. There is people willing to work-albeit not enough in my opinion. The politicians have sold us down the river even Fox news has gone to the left a little much for me.
No disrespect meant but God can't help us, we as a nation MUST do something ourselves-VOTE then Vote again like the Democrats do until we get the result we like.

IIRC - G Bush has been in the White House with a Repub congress for most of his two terms, but yet everything is the Dem's fault???

I'm a repub, but still - blaming one side or the other is a little steep for me - both parties created this mess and need to work together to get out of it...

Okla passed the toughest Illegal's law in the country over a year ago and it went into effect last fall (it was/is so tough, the illegals hired an attorney to fight it!) - have gotten rid of THOUSANDS of illegals and our economy is still humming along. You guys are nuts if you think American's won't do the jobs they will - I guarantee you there are legal citizens that will do the oilfield jobs and such in a heart beat that illegals are doing... that to me is just a cop out..

There was a plant shut down in Tx several years ago (can't rmember, but can find out what it was if you all need specifics) because of using illegal workers.. when they started trying to rehire, there was a line of LEGAL workers several blocks long TRYING to get a job...

What we don't think about is the Govt. is like a large wheel, once you start the wheel, it takes some time to get it rolling. My point is Carter's policies were not going bad until Regan was in office, Regan's policies were not going good until Clinton was in office, you see the trend. I can't wait til the next President gets Bush's plan. The media, both sides will not touch this subject with a 10 foot pole.
Off to work I go to support a bunch of welfare recipients.

I somewhat agree - but you're not going to blame all this on Clinton or the Dems... if you do, you don't know very well what you're talking about...

its not about sides, its about EVERYONE working together... as long as we all point fingers and everyone else, this country will get no where.

I understand what you are saying as well, however it is a "paid" political scandal. Where else can you go into a new job as an average "joe" and within 3 years after leaving the job be a multi-millionaire? I want some of that!!

togetherness....well, there is a problem with this work together notion. Sometimes people are UNREASONABLE. You cannot work together with unreasonable people. Super way lefties, UNREASONABLE (anything socialist, communist, marxist, handout). Super way righties UNREASONABLE (the no dancing, no drinking, no living crowd)

At this point, we have, IMO a lot of way lefties and too many wussy righties.....so what do we get, a slow roll to the way left. This is illustrated in the candidates for prez- ALL are left of center, dont even try to tell me otherwise.

My welfare idea- you get 6 mo govt support, if you havent found a job by then, tough boobies...you're on your own. You get 6 mo every say..3-5 yrs. No job, no govt money.

NO SUCH THING as a job an american wont do. Some might not, but blaming the wage is BS, (just as BS as enforcing a minimum wage, market will set the wage EVERY TIME)

Ugh. Cant we just have capitalism back? All we have to do is limit/prevent monopolies and collusion and thats about it.. quit this marxist, liberal 'its not fair' crap.

All men are CREATED equal--does not say all men ARE equal. Some work, some slack..the choice is theirs.

I know a guy that had a buisness in the untited states and he has lived here his whole life. The taxes on his buisness he had to pay every year was getting to the point that he could not stay in buisiness. So what he did was gave up his citicen ship and moved to the dominican republic now he has all the benifits an alien has.He now has three buisinesses and 4 homes.Basically he was tired of aliens doing it to us (or shall i say the government letting them ) so he desided to do it to them.Good for him .But I'm sorry I'm not giving my citicen ship up for nothing.I'm american and proud to be.

This whole "jobs that Americans won't do, or atleast for the pay" bugs me because of course you won't do a job that you don't have to because others will. When slavery was around I'm sure people thought they would never do the jobs that their slaves did. Guess what when there were no more slaves they had to do it. Also the reason the pay is so bad on these jobs is because there are immigrants here to do them. If there were no or less immigrants the jobs would still need to get done and the pay might just go up.
