Looking at the running poll results, I think it would take a lot of backbone
to ADMIT to voting dummycrat. er, Democrat.

Ok, that was thoughtless and inconsiderate. But who am I going to offend? I don't think there really are any Democrats on the .org,
just contrarians who enjoy a good argument, and will take the other side
just so they can start one.

If you vote republican, you're voting for a wolf in sheeps clothing. Mccain is just as bad as the two dems...best case scenario, just like the current administration. Bush was one of our greatest presidents his first term, but currently I think he has dropped the ball. I do realize not all the blame is his, but congress, ect. He' just a lame duck now I guess.

Just my op-onion here, but isn't a wolf in sheeps clothing better than a sheep in wolves clothing? That's the other side. One looks rather unassuming, but means business in a fight... The other looks tough as nails(particularly Hillary), but runs from a fight(particularly Barack).

I think McCain is essentially no better than the two Dems. That said, he may well be better for America. He's not one trying to relieve us of our overly heavy and hard to carry guns... He knows the burden, but believes we can handle the weight, just the same. He wants us to rely on us, ourselves, each other.

The Dems have, for decades now, presumed Americans should rely on the government to survive. They(as a leading party) want us to hold our hands out to see what they'll put in it, like a kid at your door on halloween. And then, like that kid at the door, we see a little candy. Sure, it tastes good at first, but then you either get sick of it or you develop some sort of addiction to it, wanting ever more.

I'm not a Republican myself, but I used to be a Democrat, and I became so ashamed of how they do things, I had to jump ship. It's not the political talk that changed me... Both sides talk alot and do a little. It's the policies. Democrats constantly want to give my hard earned income to somebody else, including themselves, all the while, not doing what I need them to during the fleecing of my pockets. When(if ever) they decide to take action over the things most Americans are concerned with, like illegals, terrorists(no matter the locale), fuel, and taxes, I may support the party again. Until then, not gonna happen.

It's not about Barack or Hillary. It's about the way they want to handle things which matters.

ok. done
I have to agree here. If this was a " How to be a better vegetarian.org "
We would probably be discussing, How to rid the guns, Not " Do you like the AK or AR " Thread.
Our Threads would be like so " Need help protesting anti g-y marriage in NY area"
Not " Need good mech in DFW area "
Or " How can I get rid of the ants in my house w/o Harming them"
Ours would state " Got coons in the yard,How do y'all skin 'em "
So it is by choice, With whom you choose to surround yourself with.

The answer to the questions above is with FIRE. Except for the mechanic in DFW. I'm still looking for one.
