She just seems nervous on that stage. I haven't seen her speak all that much she doesn't or at least she doesn't get alot of air time. I don't know my gut feeling so I got to go with it.

Roger that. I was just curious if there were specific speeches she gave that weren't particularly good.

It's amazing what the gut tells you about things in life.

Hey if she can handle it...then why not!

Also I think that they are just trying to get some of the African American and women vote away from the other side also. Why vote for either a woman or an African American when you can vote for one guy and get both lol?

I have seen her speak and that was one thing I was impressed about her. But like Mark said, "It's amazing what the gut tells you about things in life."

One of her aspirations is to be the NFL Comissioner. I think that is pretty cool. That isn't why I think she would be a viable VP or even Pres one day. Just the fact that she would want to tackle that position is kind of interesting to me.

I've seen her speak at press conferences before she was Sec of State.
She was speaking about the war, why we were in it, etc. She was very
good under fire, very articulate, composed. She had much more grace than
those attacking her in front of the cameras. My wife and I have always
admired her. She's accomplished a lot. I'd vote for her.

As far as Gen Powell, well I'm not so sure. I never liked the way the first
Gulf war ended, and I'm sure Powell had a lot of input into that.

Stormin' Norman, now, he's my kind of General. No nonsense, kick a$$ kind
of guy. Get in, get it done, get out, with minimum risk to our own forces.
He was concerned to the point of distraction about the welfare of those
under his command. All the more reason for sound strategy, and overwhelming force.

Unfortunately, as I think Huckabee said about Jesus, "He's too smart to run for office." Or something to that effect.

So we choose from among those who offer themselves to us.

Im not sure I like her. But I am not informed enough, I have never really paid much attention to her. I will definatly be voting for Mcain. It almost doesnt matter who is VP is. But I would like to see Huckster as it. just me.

Exactly...she will ensure a McCain win i think.
I'll vote McCain either way but the woman/african american aspect will bring alot more McCain votes.
Anoter thing to consider is the fact that McCain is so old...he could stroke out under the pressure and the VP would have to step up. I think Condi would be a good choice.

I like Condi. I think she may be a little too rough with some foreign leaders, but TOUGH. Many countries or cultures have little or no respect for women, and that could be a problem, but for them, not us. She would be a fine choice.

Man Condi has a HUGE resume of accomplishments, she is tough, and a very eloquent speaker, not like bumbling Dubya at all.

As far as how the first Gulf War ended, you need to look to our Current Commander in Chief's daddy for that! Gen Powell was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, but as such is still only an "adviser" to the commander in chief.
If you read Colin Powell's book "my American journey" you would know his insight to the gulf war, he wanted to go to Baghdad!
He is as or more accomplished as anyone today and I think he is the viable option to be the first black president, but his wife won't let him run for fear of assassination. He is a staunch conservative, and has the country AND the troops in his best interest.
You know we NEED a president with a military past, as they are going to be the least likely to put the troops into harms way unless absolutely necessary. They won't just throw the boys around like pawns on a chess board like a non military politician.
