Sick and tired
I dont know about you guys but I am sick and tired of hearing about "civilian casualties in these two wars. Why (I know why) is our media so quick to report about women and children killed by our air strikes, in the latest one it appears there were none but that retraction isnt on the front pagelike the killings were. As far as I am concerned when you know we are coming, because we make no secrets about it, and you chose to stay in a hotspot you have sealed your fate. I believe our media needs to do two things. First is to talk to our soldiers because I know several that have been both places but Iraq mostly and they are very happy with the progress and what we are doing there. Are there problems yes, but mostly they are happy with things on the ground but cant believe the reports coming out of there. Second is for the media to GO HOME and let our military do THEIR JOB. I think we would already be done if we werent so concerned the way the media will portray what happened. This is a war and war isnt fair but we should be fighting to win, not to win friends, but to win the war. They are. Sorry for the rant but I feel better now.
