I would like to know more about British Columbia
Hello, I am considering moving to British Columbia. Here in California life is becoming less than enjoyable and to crowded. Just wondering about schools and general quality of life. I took a vacation to Victoria and liked what I saw.
Just would like some information about schools and what areas to avoid. I hope to take a trip around Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. Thank you |

I just got back from Vancouver myself. Victoria was a little too Santa Monica for me, but we were only downtown and for a few hours so that is really a 'first impression' assessment. I liked vancouver quite a bit and the whole area up there is beautiful. Maybe try craigslist vancouver too, at least read the rants and raves and get an idea of whats on peoples minds. I know the locals seemed less than pleased about the Olympics in 2010. Lot's of construction going on too. Good Luck, it is a beautiful area. 94prez ps. if they dont let you in, I did notice that there is this funny little peninsula (forgot what it was called) which is accessible only via Canada by land, US by boat. It is US, connected to Canada. |

I live in Fairbanks Alaska right now and am going to be in Edmonton, Alberta by september. There is NOTHING bad about canada. that country has so much going on for it (especially western Canada). British Columbia is beautiful. But Alberta has more job opportunities. they need 200,000 workers by 2010 BTW. Oil Sands there have enough oil to sustain the worlds current consumption rate for 50 years. I could go on and on... Or stay in the States. and uh...... hm. thats all I got |

Look I have nothing but respect for people who served in ALL of the world wars and Vietnam. that took more balls than we could ever imagine. All I am saying is take a random soldier right now and see how they rank....... ****.... they dont rank. because they SUCK. Hey, lets go take our government appointed rifles, in our government appointed vehicles, from our government appointed house, from our governemnt appointed states and go PRACTICE for a while. and like, NOT protect freedom but brag about it anyways. that sounds cool. tell you what. i have enough weapons. if someone were to attack the US i would throw down. but, no one is attacking the us. and....... well thats it. why bother? you pay so much in taxes for nothing. other than to think some worthless ****sucking GI piece of **** is worth a ****. heres some info for you. GI stands for - Galvanized Iron. period |
