I just want to say that I pay 42% of my income to tax! and someone that makes less then me pays 20% to the goverment, they also get a refund check, and I get a bill? tell me how our goveremnt is fair? I have zero kids. my business partner, has 2, i pay less taxes then he does? We lived in a screwed up world of taxes. he is punished for making money and having kids, I am punished for making more money than someone else. I could take a pay hit, and possibly bring home the same dollar amount. I feel like its a time for change. im just pissed because its taxe season and I cant not think about this anymore...

Its called social engineering, lot of the tax dodges are to make people act the way the Government wants you to.

I just got my w-2's today... I figured out i have paid about 28% in taxes so far just out of my pay checks... it will probly be around 20% when I get my return... then I pay a 7%state sales tax, taxes on the intrest made in my savings acount, taxes on my fuel, taxes on my power bill, taxes on my phone bill, taxes on my beer, taxes on my cigarettes. taxes on my vehicle licensing and when I buy a house I will be paying property taxes!

As far as im concerned if they instituted a fair tax at as high as 50% I would still be paying less taxes than I am with the current system. Its time for a change. PERIOD! Thats my 2 cents.
