I don't care if they have changed their minds. I say that their federal funding should still be yanked and given to the Marines or other military org. This should happen for the next 10 years. Overkill? Maybe, but I personally believe it would drive home the point not to jack with the Armed Forces or their members , if you do you pay a heavy price.

You want your city council to impeach / arrest Bush, Clinton, Cheney, Gore, (throw your politician of choice in here) that's fine, look stupid doing that. But DON'T YOU DARE carry that over to the man or woman who puts their lives on the line so you can spout whatever Anti-American hating crap you want.

You got a beef the the elected leaders, keep it there. Leave the military member alone. A simple "Thank you very much" will suffice.

Idiots!

I think it's hilarious how the city backtracked- No we didn't mean to say that we are against the Marines. We ment to say that we are against the war. Please disreguard the Code Pink parking space.

Where do they get off thinking that it's the City of Berkely's business to say anything about the Iraq war anyway? Maybe they should pass their own resolution to "bring the troops home" and see how far they get with it.
