This is annoying !
I dont think it takes a rocket scientst to see that when the price of oil shot up,the economy started slowing down.

dont make sence to me why you would invade a country blow th chit out of it and then rebuild it again any ways? I mean seriously... here we took your facist leader out of your country and all of his supporters, make your own government system and military and take your oil that your previous goventment system was taking and use the money to rebuild your own d@mn country! either that or the united states need to take billions of dollars worth of oil for reimbersement for our services. Well , I know what I am going to do. When the disposable cash is available, (maybe with the rebate check), I am going to buy a coal fired furness for my home. The USA has over 200 years reserve supply. I have seen sites on the web where it is available from 30 dollars(at the mine) to 100 dollars a ton (in bags)and stoves that can operate up to three days from a hopper feed.Even if i have to drive to west virginia or pennsylvania to get it and even if its a while to "cost justify" , i am going to do it. Anyone else burning coal ? Stove recs and specs would be great to hear. Last edited by mrnecsteve : 01-30-2008 at 02:12 PM. |

we used to burn lump coal in our wood stove in eastern montana. youd still have to burn wood to get the fire going but a big lump would burn all day and all night long and keep the house warm all winter. we got it straight from the mines for bout 36 bucks a ton and 1 ton would last a winter along with 2 quards of fire wood. here in northern idaho we dont have to coal as redily available as we used to. only down side to burning coal is its creates as much ash as the amount coal you put in.

And I'm sure some Americans have made a dollar or two off their oil. I'm all for your coal idea. |

most have gone practicly bankrupt buying it. Im just tryin to get a better understanding of this war? the only reason for war is money or resources. we are loosing both on this war. if they where truly worried about terrorist they could have taken care of that with strategic tactical strikes and had this chit taken care of before it even started. I still find it hard to believe that the american people have paid billions of dollars and lives so that Bush jr. could have the pride of acomplisheng what his daddy couldnt. Smaybe im thinking like a nazi but I say take their oil. what are they doing with the money? obviously not putting it back into their own country and gov system. |
