Tax Rebate Bill Passes Senate

I like what Hucabee said the other night concerning the tax rebates.

"We'll end up borrowing the 150 BILLION dollars from China and then end up buying mostly products made in that country. In the end whose economy are we building up?"

While I don't agree with using the money to add two lanes to I-95, I am ok with it being used to build infra-structure here in the States. And since I am potentially Hi-jacking this thread can anyone tell me that if the Dems are agreeing with the Repubs that a massive tax relief package is needed to "jump start the economy" how in the hell do the Dems justify their plans to raise taxes if they are elected?

What a message our government is sending.

Spend
Well 70% of what happens is spending not creating or making something. The government should know, they have there records. “They” know about you that you know. “They” know how to spend, spend more than the income (TAXES) and now wanting to give some more away.

Save
The government tells US that WE are not saving. Savings have gone down to zero and even less than that (spending has exceeded incomes), Big Brother (government) has taught us well.

History
The last time the current state of things happened was some time back. Savings was at zero or negative. Spending was at all time high. Speculators were racking in the high incomes from the masses buying into, you can have it all but only if you do it today for if you wait till tomorrow and you think prices are high just wait. Yes you will be pressed to pay the bill but you will be making more tomorrow but paying today’s cost and all will be ok. Then it happened, the crash, that stock you put only a small payment on went down, you owed more that it is now worth. Wow does that sound like things today? Today one can play the stock market just like this. Like your home today and that pay increase you got was less than forecasted and does not cover food, utilities, gasoline and the other needs just to keep working. Never mind the other rising cost you have like taxes on your home and not so visible (sales) tax increased on everything purchased and the hidden taxes passed on to you from business / corporations do not print money only collect it from us to pay there tax bill. Surprise that we have stopped buying the things made now off shore and the “profits” have dropped along with taxes collected on the sales and all of the taxes taken out of the stream as the goods flow throughout the system, to us. Now the cost cutting for business the only expenses possible, mortgage no, taxes no, utilities’ only small gains, its labor and the over head with it (taxes, health and others). So now we have a downward spiral of the whole thing. The last time in history was? There is more in this just like the last time we did not have a sitting President or Vice-president seeking the office.

Future
I do not have a crystal ball. I do have some common senses, 1 one can not spend more than you make. 2 you can not barrow your way out of the past. Cut spending and work on increasing income. For the government, to do only what government was chartered to do, like defending, protection, infrastructure and other items that as ones can not do only as a grope can get done. If a road is needed from Tempe to Phoenix, a job of government. If an entertainment venue is wanted a person or privet group will fill the need. Rebuild the USA workings by stopping making offshore less profitable. Yes this will cause a hike in prices but what will be the bill now due if we keep on the road? Stop the outrages cost paid now to the top, just how many millions does one person need (or do they know something and not telling us)? Who will be able to purchase anything if 80% can not afford to buy, the charge card only takes does not give.

Wake up America !

Spend, Spend, Spend, Spend, Spend.

What the heck (can not put in the inappropriate word), spend it all and then some, Rome is burning, play the fiddle and party on ! !

I just wish could demand a 10% raise every year by if not paid, I would take there property or liberty away.
