why should I vote for ron paul

So everywhere I've been seeing "vote for ron paul" signs, and bumper stickers and even on this site. I admit I don't follow politics at all and his politics may not suit me but from you ron paul supporters; why should I vote for him? What is it about him that has got everyone so "ron paul crazy"? thx.

Some of his domestic policies are pretty good but his foreign policy leaves alot to be desired.

You shouldn't vote for him. I'm all about the republican ticket, but not with mr. Paul.

He has misrepresentend himself as to wasteful spending. His strict isolationist policies are well, a poor idea at best. I think all the hubbub about him is he's made a lot of noise about "stopping" immigration and doing away with the IRS, Dept of Education and other big name govt groups.

Thompson is the most strict conservative IMO, that is an option. Perhaps a Romney/Thompson ticket. That'd be great! That could bring America back in line with capitalism and conservative values.

well see i just got out of political science class I was taking during winter session and one thing I figured out is that I am like 95% conservative. I was raisied by my father not to like liberals and after reading and learning about it on my own I understand why now.

The domestic issues I like are pro 2nd amendment, and getting rid of the IRS. He also wants to shear up the borders. Something about too many taco stands.

As was stated before, he is strictly anti Iraq war and is for immediate wthdrawal. More of an isolationist.

Hey, I'm all for gettin rid of the IRS, a national sales tax would make more sense. And as far as isolationist goes, why not? ( Like a talk show host here in D/FW, Russ Martin, has said for years, the U.S. needs to be the a**hole of the planet for a couple of years, no foreign aid, nothing for anybody but ourselves!) But we do need to finish what we started in the first place, if we just pull all our troops out tomorrow then what have we accomplished? Personally, I haven't seen anybody worth voting for. If hillary or obama get elected, then. Just my
