Would that liven up the White House or what?
I'm liking Huckabee more each day. 2nd amendment is a strong issue to me.

haha thats funny. I was watching spirit of the wild the other day and told my girlfriend ted should run for presedent im glad im not the only person that thinks like that!

as far as Mike Huckabee I really like where he stands as far as second amendment rights and I love how people try to use his religous beliefe against him and he throws it back in their face!

im not sure im likeing the ideah of a "fair tax" I make 30k a year. my neighbor makes 200k a year. we both buy the same amount of things to live each month. I just spent allof my money on 30% sales tax and $4.00 a gallon of gas and my neighbor spent 30k on all of that stuff and has 170k in his pocket. thats fair? I think not. the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

other than that hes got my vote.

I think you might be a little confused about how the fairtax works. You can read more at Americans For Fair Taxation: FairTax.org, but here are the basics

1. It requires a repeal of the 16th ammendment to the constitution (the one that makes income tax legal) before it was passed in 1913 income tax was unconstitutional and ILLEGAL!!! This would also prevent the government from imposing both an income and consumption tax.
2. EVERY american will recieve a prebate check every month that is designed to cover the tax on necessities it ranges from $196 (single adult) to $792 (couple with 6 kids) per month. This UNTAXES the poor, Making this a very progressive tax plan. (it also has the additional benefit of making Illegal immigrants actually WANT to become legal citizens.
3. The fairtax abolishes all federal personal and corporate income taxes, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, and self-employment taxes. In short YOU BRING YOUR WHOLE CHECK HOME!!!!
4. There is approximately $10,000,000,000,000 in capital being sheltered from the IRS in offshore accounts. After the fairtax is passed this capital will come back to the american economy.
5. The fairtax eliminates the underground economy that is conservatively estimated to be in excess of $1,000,000,000,000. Now all the pimps, drugdealers, prostitutes, and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS will have to pay their fair share.
6. The IRS budget for last year was approx $10,000,000,000. Think about what other programs that money could go to. Um... Defense Maybe....
7. No tax on used goods...Period
8. IT is a MYTH that companies pay taxes. Companies pass the cost of their taxes on to the consumer. Under the fairtax the cost of corporate tax compliance drops reducing the cost of operation by 20%. This makes american products more cost competitive WORLDWIDE. End Result. EXPORTS GO UP, JOBS ARE CREATED, WAGES GO UP, YOU HAVE MORE MONEY TO SPEND ON PRODUCTS THAT COST 20% LESS THAN THEY DO NOW!!!

for all of the gun owners....

this was pulled from CNN...

Barack Obama
Supports extending the assault weapons ban. Supports national law against carrying concealed weapons, with exceptions for retired police and military personnel. Supports limiting gun sales to one per month.

Mike Huckabee
Opposes reauthorization of the assault weapons ban. Opposes mandatory trigger locks for handguns. Opposes waiting periods for gun purchases. Owns a variety of firearms. NRA member. Has a concealed carry permit

not to mention, i donk know if any of u have heard his latest comment in SC but basically he said something funny about the confederate flag issue.. If someone was to come to my home state of Arkansas and tell me what do do with our flag, we would tell them what to do with the pole.... that comment along with the 2nd amendment, and everything else i have heard about him sealed the deal for me. i was torn between him and romney but after the primaries started i researched it a little and found out he has my vote
KUCKABEE IN 08 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was so funny. The news man & Woman tried to pin him down on some things and he just flat out told them that he wouldn't speak for the state of S.C. , but if they come to Arkansas and tell us what to do,we will tell them where to stick the pole.
He is also a SuperDuty Man, and loves his Ranger Bass Boat.
