So what exactly would you expect from this system after it's immediate release? The goal was sound, try to eliminate fraudulent payments before being released from the treasury.
The deployment of software on this level, having no equivalent or existing platform to design from, is going to be full of holes. Once metrics are obtained, they can be evaluated and the software can be tailored to evolve, assuming they gather and interpret the correct data. If we get 5 years into the project and it's still in the red, this would be worth discussing. It was deployed about a year ago. Then again, who cares. It makes for a great headline to sell advertising with. |
