HOA Sues Marine for Flying American Flag on Flagpole

It's just the stupid HOA. Where my sister lives in Midland you have to have your paper picked up by 10:30AM or your in trouble.

Diid anyone hear about the HOA that foreclosed on the house of a soldier fighting over in the middle East because his wife didn't pay the HOA fees for a few months, and the house was PAID for and they still foreclosed on it.

Nothing like someone else who can determine your own home's future/front door color...etc

The only time a US flag comes down is, Half way for a death, and at Dusk. I would never, NEVER take down another US citizens US Flag. Or stand around and watch someone else do it unless it was One of the reasons above.
The same goes for Burning my Flag... We all have FREEDOM. It works both ways, you mess with my Flag and I mess with your FACE.
Its time we all grew some balls and stand behind this GREAT COUNTRY.

Guys....he signed the HOA contract when he bought his house. It said in the contract no free standing flag poles. If he intended to have a free standing flag pole down the road, then he shouldn't have moved there. The HOA isn't against the flag, just the pole. Says right in the article he can have a six foot pole mounted to the side of his house.

Sorry but he's in the wrong, NOT the HOA. He can't complain
