Facepalm....polar bears...

Polar bears no longer on thin ice? - U.S. news - Environment - Climate Change - msnbc.com

I'll write later because between the issue and the very poor reporting I'm at a loss for words...

The sole reason this issue is an issue is because it gets so much attention in the media. If people wouldn't have pushed for the ridiculous notion that polar bears needed "saved," we wouldn't be bombarded with polar bear this and polar bear that.

Truth is, polar bears are quite healthy and thriving. There are no deaths because of "global warming." When ice decreases they adapt, when it comes back they adapt to that as well. Polar bears aren't a fragile little rabbit, they're sturdily built animals quite capable of taking care of themselves. The best thing in this case is for people to just leave them be.
