Good deal!! I am self employed oilfield. I pay all my medical care out of pocket up to 10,000 then the insurance kicks in and picks up the tab. Glad to see they are doing something about one of many mistakes they are "trying" to work bugs out of.

The ol' "you have to pay for this insurance" part of that always bugged me.
On one hand you have the premise that the more people paying, the less expensive it can be. AND if you have insurance you're more likely to go to the doctor and overall be healthier or, at least, go to the doctor to get it looked at. OTOH, it something else you HAVE to pay for. Most states already have mandatory car insurance laws, you have to have your car registered, you have to have a driver's license (These are not bad things BTW, just pointing out they HAVE to be paid for) and, let's not forget about taxes (okay those are bad, but what ya gonna do?) Then there is all the "living life" expenses, car, food, clothing (both buying and cleaning), housing, etc. Many in our society have pull real hard to get the end to meet. This is just something else on the pile. At the very least, the judge's ruling will make Congress to take a deeper look at it. |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA is all i have to say! i have said before if it weren't for my son i would drop my health care. well it's paid for in full at least the premium is, but when i'm laid off i have to buy cobra which is over $1100 bucks a month. if i trusted my ex wife enough to keep her job i would see if she could get insurance through her employer for her, and my son, because it would still be cheaper than cobra. if i could trust her i would have her do that, and not take the cobra during layoffs, and just keep my life insurance for my son to collect if something happens to me.
i can't believe this whole penalty. this whole fine. supposedly if everyone gets health care it will help to cover all those with pre existing conditions. what a bunch of crap. since when has anything the government got their hands in caused the prices to drop? NEVER! and those who can't get insurance through their employer who have to buy it themselves who have pre existing conditions they may buy it. the insurance companies are still gonna charge them ridiculous rates. it's all counterproductive. i don't trust any politician, but the way mccain's plan was if that went through then that seemed better. there was a good sized tax credit for those who purchased health insurance, but like i said i don't trust any of them. do people really have to move out of the country in order not to be fined? haha. |

This judge's ruling was great!
I also watched the Va. A.G. debate Chris "thrill up my leg" Matthews on MSNBC and loved how he made Mathews look like the MORON he is ![]() ![]() I'm sure this will end up in the Supreme court, but not sure how that will go,especially with the newest LIB-Kagan ![]() But if it get's rules unconstitutional, that will break the back of Obamacare-all we need is a 5/4 vote ![]() The buying of insurance and/or paying the fine was the bank roller of this bill, let's hope it crashes and burns in court ![]() Then we don't have to worry about those death panels for the healthy-let alone the sick and needy |
