Well, whaddya know! So....let me get this right - Get bailed out w/TAX PAYER $$, You have to pay THAT back, but..............you don't have to pay a crap load of future taxes because of some rule?

"But the federal government, in a little-noticed ruling last year, decided that companies that received U.S. bailout money under the Troubled Asset Relief Program won't fall under that rule."

That was convenient!!

Yet, will there be an investigation into it, nope, it will get swept under the rug just like all the other crap that's been pulled the last two years.

I thought they were trying to level the playing field? In that case, Ford should be free of taxes too!

Proud to say Ford just announced their 5th straight quarter in the positive 3rd quarter earnings were $1.69 billion. They are also paying off their debt they owe to there health care for retirees fund and creating thousands of jobs around the world starting at the beginning of next year.

This is great news and all without any tax payers help. Go
