I'm doing a research paper on the Florida 8th congressional district and when researching recent bills passed/introduced by Dem Alan Grayson (their representative) i found this gem of a bill.

Basically it was a bill introduced to congratulate President Obama on receiving his Nobel Peace Prize. According to GovTrack and OpenSecrets it's been discussed 14 times on the house floor and is still being debated.

Is this really the kind of bill they need to be focusing on right now?

You got it bud. He also called his Republican opponent Daniel Webster "Taliban Dan" in his campaign advertisements.

He also mocked Webster calling him a draft dodger because he didn't serve in the Vietnam war. Want to know why Webster didn't serve? Medically unfit. Flat feet and bad asthma. He was called to be examined for the draft 5 times and showed up all five times. Not much of a draft dodger.....

Grayson makes me sick

Don't worry. I might live in Texas but I've been watching Florida's 8th district religiously for the past two months . Grayson doesn't stand a chance. He has nearly 3 times the funding as Webster but lost most of his support with the attacks on Webster.

Webster on the other hand, just sits back and lets Grayson dig his own hole. Polls have Webster up 8% . We'll see tomorrow if Orlando makes the right choice

Grayson, 52, was too young for the draft and attended Harvard after the Vietnam era. But Grayson — known for his opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — said that if he'd been in college during the Vietnam War, he would have put aside his education, not taken a college deferment and served.

Grayson would not say whether he considers others who received college deferments to be draft dodgers, calling it irrelevant.

Grayson is so far up O's azz, it isn't funny. He's also pretty far out there.
