Hell yeah. I'd own a fusion or taurus over a camry any day. So much better looking and a pretty nice to drive.

In fact, I can say I'd proudly drive any vehicle in the ford lineup now for the most part, keeping my truck of course. I couldn't say that 5 years ago...

i myself have had a few toyotas, and my folks had a few growing up. they used to be great cars. to this day i still have a 99 corolla. it's a clunker, and don't know how much longer it will last. it's got 170k miles. it's been good. my mother has an 02 taurus. she has even offered to give it to me if she stops driving in place of my corolla. it's got around 80k miles on it. she's 76, and still drives, but not as much as she had been. that car has had all kinds of problems though. transmission, ball joints, shocks, radiator, and just regular wear items on top of those. she's the original owner, and she has warned me if i did take it that i should be ready to spend money on it. she had a few escorts, and they were good cars. better than the taurus. i wouldn't go near the taurus. at least not hers. the focus seems like a good little car. if i were in the market for something new which i am not, but if i were i would look into a focus or maybe the fusion. maybe a honda, but their quality has went down as well it seems though not like toyota.


i don't know what went wrong with toyota. in the past couple of years i hear about nothing, but problems. weird problems that i have never heard of before. i got nothing against imports, i'm sure a lot of us have little fart hondas, and toyota or nissan sedans. when i my corolla i just was looking for a little economy car for the long commute to work for about $5 grand, and thats what i found.
