Angry Obama admin to outlaw fishing???

Feds to 60 Million American Anglers: We don't need you

I believe Dave once had a post / vote titled "Votes have consequences" or something to that effect.

Well this is a prime example of the consequences of your vote. I wonder how many anglers thought this was the change they were getting when they cast a vote for this A-hole.

So any one willing to admit buyers remorse with this clown?

Wait there's more against flower growers.....
The six agents, wearing SWAT gear and carrying weapons, were with - get this- the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

They won't quit until we are all criminals...........WHAT A DREAM COME TRUE!

Pretty sad to say the least. I gaurd my fishing pole as much as I gaurd my arsenal. I can't imagine what the commercial fishers think of this.

What Next?

Will we have to register our fishing poles? Will there be a 5 day waiting period to purchase one? Are we limited to one fishing pole purchase per month? Will I need a permit to carry one in my car?

This has me concerned as fishing is not guaranteed under the 2nd Amendment.

I am a member of a few saltwater fishing boards... I tell you, people are pissed. Maybe even more heated than people get here at times. A lot of the legislation is extremely confusing and all has too much, way too much involvement of lobbyists. The EDF is one..and envirowhacko group. I won't even go into details as I cannot figure it out enough to explain it to others.

Personal feelings- The ones making the rules are not the ones out fishing. They are lobbyist groups and scientists that do studies that are limited in scope and data extrapolated too far. The commercial fishers ARE taking too much with ways/means that are extremely destructive. Commercial quotas should be re-evaluated, or at the very least, their methods. I get the 'err on the side of caution' but that can be taken too far and IS taken out of context to serve the radical goals of those on the lunatic fringe.

This administration is way too much in-bed with liberal environuts.
Environuts want us not to utilize anything in the environment.

I believe that we must be good stewards, but not so much so that we deny ourselves use of natural resources.
