Thats all we need. WA isnt the only state with a law like this on the books.

I was almost surprised but then saw it is on the Left Coast and it all fell in place. Maybe they get their 2nd amendment rights back next.

What confuses me is why race has anything to do with this.

Only that the 'plantiff's' case was built on the fact that there is a higher percentage of African American inmates than any other ethnic group.

I was always under the impression that voting was one of the rights you lost during incarceration regardless of which ethnic group you belonged to.
