I don't get it. The definition of war does not say anything about walking on egg shells while walking and hunting terrorists, and trying to kill them before they take YOU out. How the hell is our military EVER going to finish this conflict with the taliban if they're not allowed to engage these POS's unless you have the permission of 15 douche bags in Washington

my opinion is we should just withdraw since we are obviously not playing to win. just continue to launch missles via drones, seems like the only thing we are doing right at the moment.

Yeah, at least with the drones we don't loose American soldiers, and we still accomplish the same result of nothing

its going to take serious commitment to accomplish anything in that country. there serioulsy is nothing there right now outside the cities.

its going to take commitment on the scale of the marshall plan and decades of work to achieve our goals. if we arent willing to commit to that then we should walk away now.

I was listening to talk radio the other day and glen beck had a marine on there that had been in the war over there and he said it best just to let us do what we are trained to do let us get it done and get out. He said that the enemy uses our restrictions against us take off the restrictions and let us go.

we can kick there azz to hell and back, thats not going to do any good if we dont have a plan for after the peace. just look at iraq.

i would say withdraw and give support to pakistan so their nukes dont fall into terrorist hands. keep the camps in afghanistan leveled with b-52 overflights to deny the enemy the opportunity to use the area to regroup.
