"If the companies won't do what is right, then we will," said Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., a reliably anti-tobacco voice in Congress.
This was quite possibly the most laughable part of the story. They beat us to death with how bad smoking is (plenty of facts to confirm this), restrict the places where smokers light up, cry about second hand smoke, demonize the tobacco industry, and then refuse to make the product illegal. Sooo, if it's this bad who is doing the right thing?
A) The tobacco industry producing a legal product.
B) Politicians using tax revenue off of a product that they deem a health hazard and refusing to make it illegal..........again knowing the damage it does.
They are all just a bunch of w h o r e s, prostituting themselves out for their own gain.
