I can't even watch it. I found out that i will be a dad next June and neither my wife nor myself could ever dream of doing such a thing. I will hold back on my thoughts of obama supporting this or i will also get in trouble.

i struggled watching it myself. in all honesty im not mad at obama at this but the nurse and doctors that did this. how can you have the heart to do it? i guess i should be asking where did they lose there heart.

i'm all for a woman's right to choose, but that's pretty sick. IMO if the baby's still attached and dependent to the woman's body, she should have the right to abort it if she wishes. Not saying that I would choose abortion, but I'm certainly not going to tell the girl who got raped she can't. But taking the infant out and just leaving it to die is just neglectful and inhumane.

And I agreed for a long time, and still do, but I realized it's really easy to sit back and say that as a MAN who has never even been near that situation. Again, not saying I would necessarily do it, but it's something that I (and probably all men) will never fully understand (much like most things women do), and as such I don't think we really have a say in a woman's choice, unless it's your child in there too. I'd rather leave that debate to those who would actually be making that choice. But like you said, that's just one man's opinion

I don't think people should be able to tell other people if they can or cannot get something like this done. They may not choose to get an abortion, but if it is something like a rape, and they want to get an abortion, why should anyone else be able to tell them they can't.

exactly. I have my own personal views on abortion, but I prefer to stay out of the debate as it's such a controversial topic and, again, is something that as a man I feel like I will never fully understand.
