The shoot order never came, for obvious reasons, but if it had, think of the heartache we could have saved ourselves.

Lesson: Sometimes it is easier to shoot them.

These are different circumstances with civilians we are sworn to protect, but if I thought they were endangering me, or someone else, or hell, if they tried to jump in front of my truck, im sure the brakes would fail, randomly.
Jack, we all have those sides man. I have a side that says the chit I'm saying now, and the side that would shoot your *** and go have a beer while I'm waiting for the cops to show up. It all depends on the situation I'm in. It's not necessarily a bad thing

In you're friends case, he was doing what he was sworn to do and was following orders

I'm not sure we'd have saved any grief and/or heartache by taking him out It may have made things worse. You never really know man.

I don't know your're friend, but it sounds like we may have known some of the same types

Exactly my point brother.

Although the military isn't really sworn to protect the civilians, it's a good idea when dealing with stateside matters, to approach it that way

Oath of Enlistment (re-Enlistment):

Quote:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God
I agree wholeheartedly with your statment regarding endangerment. If a life is at risk, then civilians or not, you can't let that happen.

You know...I heard the brakes on these things are a bit unreliable.....

but atleast you would have gave them a chance to do WHAT ever they CUT the FENCE, ignored the signs, and still continued tried to do. -your a nice guy! OH' WAIT that would be fine with you if they did carry them out!

yep, that proved that you are a fallower to believe that!

so you went from active duty to the flip side... maybe you should spell out the details rather that ASSuming we know your DUTY TO COUNTRY! wouldn't want it to be confused or misunderstood for cowardism.

i wish these jackass would come to town again....thing time i am off duty, i think the cops hualed away 4-5 active duty and/or reserves...all before a fight... but still azzez !

navy, you're letting this knucklehead rattle you and it shows man.

Chill.

Name calling and such has no place in a debate...unless you're Ron White

(got thrown off the debate team when he said "well f**k you!" to the other team. They were speechless. He thought he had won..)

So tell us what you have done for your country. Im really wondering now that you are calling military members out(the entire navy). If you want a lesson on what the navy does pm me and Ill fill you in.

Wait, I get it, you couldnt score high enough on the ASVAB so your mad at the navy for not letting you in.

Any time you feel like locking yourself in a sewer tube for months at a time let me know. If you can do that feel free to call me a coward.
