Sometimes my benevolent side is crushed under my practical, completely un sympathetic side when I remember a story told to me by someone close. Long story short, my buddy was very far into a place we never were, doing things we never did, and was under orders to keep a certain Hussein under thumb. The shoot order never came, for obvious reasons, but if it had, think of the heartache we could have saved ourselves.

Lesson: Sometimes it is easier to shoot them.

These are different circumstances with civilians we are sworn to protect, but if I thought they were endangering me, or someone else, or hell, if they tried to jump in front of my truck, im sure the brakes would fail, randomly.
