If they would just make medicare available to the general public to purchase , I would be interested. It is probably better than what I have now. 2 Problems thogh

1. I don't want to be FORCED to take anything.

2. If it's cheap enough, the big insurance companies would have to lower the premiums to keep up ( wait, I guess that's not a bad thing )

You have to rein in the lawyers first. If you limit them, then the insurance industry could afford a reduction and we'd all be better off except the friggin attorneys.

I agree, hey while we are at it, can we stop electing them for public office?
