Mike Pence

I think I may have found a politician that is closet to what I believe, at least at this time.

I know many on this site are now anti-Republican, and rightfully so. Mike will tell you himself that he's a Christian, first and foremost; a conservative second, and Republican third.

Take a look and discuss........

Sorry in advance for the hijack Mike!

What does religion really have to do with it. As most of you know I am not a Christian and yet I am on board and support almost all of what comes through this forum as far as politics. I am not starting anything I am just curious why religion is always some how brought up?

Please, please dont think I am knocking anyones religion, that is the farthest thing from my mind!

Because the country was founded on the christian religion. You don't have to believe in Christianity to believe in the USA. That's what makes it so great is that you are free to believe what you want and yet somehow there are always idiots that get "offended" by it when they don't even have to believe in it

It's simply ignorant and childish to get offended by something that was not only done a long time ago and has worked well but that you also don't have to believe in.

A person's beliefs gives you a look into what they say they believe and what they stand for, it gives a person insight into how that other person should stand on certain issues and what their core principles are...thats why it is always of great interest.
