Sgt Crowley saves our health care
We have a new hero - Sgt. James Crowley. And all he did was his job.
The First Moron has just confirmed everyone's secret fear - that under the smooth exterior, he was just another ultra liberal, willing to attribute any misfortune to a black person to racism. He compounds this by using the prestige of the office to assist a personal friend, by speaking in public on an issue that no president should have been concerned with. As if he didn't have anything else to think about right now. And he picked a moment when it obviously wasn't racism: a senior policeman who clearly wasn't racist.
Following the 'smart latina' that he got a mulligan on, this has weakened him, politically, at a time when his new health care idea is not only expensive, rushed, and ill thought out, but meeting a bit of resistance. In the political world, that's all it takes, just the perception of weakness, or in his case, the perception of being the one thing that everyone hoped he wouldn't be. Now, congressmen can oppose him without getting flack from home or the media. His health care initiative may not be stopped, but the worst excesses of it will be blunted. He can be safely opposed now.
Thank you, Sgt. Crowley, for doing your job. You may well have saved health care for hard working people. And let's give a big assist to Dr. Gates, for acting a lot dumber than his lofty position would indicate.
