bills that are not read

these bills that are introduced that are so large that no one reads should have included some where in the bill, that whoever votes to pass the bill shall immediately be terminated!!! i bet that would get some attention. we are always told, " you should read the fine print", and "read before you sign"!!!!!!

They don't care because it doesn't apply to them. Remember they are above the law in their minds. The best way to cure it would put term limits on them and remove the special treatment when they are no longer in office. Make them live the common mans life.

Agreed.
And if they like this health care bill so much then let's give it a try.............................with them and their families. A 5 year trial which the rules must be strictly adhered to. Well see how quick this is dropped.

That's the best idea I've heard in a long time. Give everyone in DC 1 doctor to go to, for effect.

One term and they get a pension and healthcare for life. Pretty sweet deal I'd say.

I agree but also think a little more must be needed. Listening to Glen Beck he had a good idea of pay them what the average American wage was. If the average person makes $39,000 a year, pay them that. They should not have the power to increase their own wages. Like he put, thats like somebody going to their boss saying, well, I think I'm going to go ahead and make you pay me more.

And that pay scale can fluxuate with the economy. Thus, if they are doing their job, they can prosper just like we do, and when things get tough, they suffer, just like us. This will eliminate some of the pork, I think.
