I belive they seriously underestimate what we pay in taxes. Factor in the income tax, FICA (Socialist Security - another tax), state income taxes (if you have one), city income taxes (yes, they do exist), sales taxes, fuel taxes, DMV fees, highway tolls (usually double taxation, in my opinion), business license taxes, value added taxes, utility taxes, cell phone taxes, yadda, yadda, yadda......and then you'll be getting warmer.


Even so, there are plenty of people who still believe that we are undertaxed.



P.S. That $457 for alcohol is way low for where I live. I know guys who can blow fifty bucks easily in one night!
