We both know that this will never happen. The congress is overrun with liberals who are happy that their little pet projects are getting the funding from the raping of the American taxpayer. In the last dozen elections, the candidate who spent the most for advertising won the election. The American people are sheep that believe whatever the box in their living rooms tell them to do. Hence Obama. Combine the money that Obama used with the lusting of the media over Obama and unless we do something grass roots and huge, Obama will be the president for the next 7.5 years. Palin has alienated 75% of the voters in the country. People like us love her because she says what is on her mind and her ideas make sense for us and America. The rest of the American public has seen and bought into the witch trial that the media has put her through and there is little public outcry for a comedian who essentially make sexual reference to her 14 year old daughter. Democracy has become a sick cruel joke in this country. If we don't start getting behind a real candidate instead of media darlings, we are really going to be hurting in the future. If you think the things going down right now are horrific, just wait until Obama is re-elected and doesn't have to worry about re-election. That will be when the **** hits the proverbial fan. |

Palin is popular with the conservative base, period, no cross over appeal. Obama is bought and paid for by Goldman Sachs, Citi group, etc. Anybody who thinks he's a socialist is off base because he's totally in the pocket of the biggest capitalist interests in this country. He is being controlled 100% by these financial thugs who are reinventing the government to advance their own interests. Ron Paul seems to be one of the only ones willing to bring this little secret into the light.

And being in the senate for leass than two years is? He started a presidential campaign 2 years into his stint as a senator. Governers have executive experience. State governemnts are set up much like the fed, and running a state is a great primer for being president. So is being a senator for two or three terms.

No matter who gets elected, we can't have complete control go to the libs. if Obama is elected again, we need to make damn sure he has to deal with a non liberal dominated congress. Period. The system works best when there is a balance of power. I could care less if a bleeding heart lib is prez, as long as there is a conservastive controlled congress. and vice versa. balnce my friends, that is what it's all about, and we are way lopsided now.

As to the OP, I don't know what's going on with Palin resignation. Makes me wonder what she's really going to do. Only time will tell on this one. Quote:
I'd like to address your age for just a moment. This past week, my 14 year old cousin came to visit me and my family. This kid is incredibly intelligent and has a good head on his shoulders. He also has a conservative mindset. However, he is still a 14 year old BOY! Plain and simple. You can be book smart all you want, but until you gain life experience things really won't click. You can listen to your parents and read all the news you want. None of that will make any sense to you until you have practical knowledge by which to apply what you are being told or what you are reading. I am not telling you don't know anything because you are 14. You might very well be more intelligent than anyone else here on this forum. But, you lack life experience. That's the point I am trying to get across Like Craig said, most of us here are part of the school of Hard Knocks. I don't know if anyone really have graduated, because we are constantly learning. With that said, listen to us and learn. Maybe you will remember this 20 years from now and believe what we were trying to tell you. |
