YOU CAN"T SELL STUFF TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY EITHER.

I bought a reasonably priced home, put my 20 percent down, just like has been done for years.....and because of the greed on wall street and the stupidity of others with their mcmansions they couldn't afford.....it all trickles down to everyone buddy. Sure, ill pick up the peices and move on, but you throw away 15 years of saving and see how you feel.
Ian, Kinghawg is no way posting anything against you. We all know the situation sucks bad. The only thing you can do is try to work your way out of it just like I know you want to. That's the responsible thing to do

Conservatism (not republicans) is the only way to get out of the mess and put us on a road to prosperity.
It does make a difference if they are still in office taking bribes, I mean campaign contributions and doing more damage.

Conservatism nor liberalism has not saved us, maybe it's time for the libertarian model.

I have to say that right now Utah hasnt really seen too much of the effects of the por economy..... Yet. things have been slow, but for the most part we and everyone we know is doing well. Some small business have closed their doors, but fuel costs arent too bad yet, and i stress yet, so a little extra spending is ok which in turn helps support our businesses here..

No extreme one way or the other will save this country, it is a balance of all ideas and ways of doing things that will save us, balance of ideas is what this country was founded on. No single mindest, libertarian, conservative, liberal etc is the right way, but a blend of all thses will provide the best course.

Ian- Dave nailed it.

Fewer gov't mandates vs. more mandates is what I mean with conserv. vs. lib. There is more to it, but thats a start.

I think ian is right on that its not a completely straight path, rather a mix, but overall, less govt is the way to go.
