This is absolutly nuts, that's all I gotta say.

Here is a thought that just came into mind. Do you suppose that Obama and his liberal buddies in Congress are actually trying to raise unemployment? As in they want as many people to be hand fed by the government, and they will become accustomed to it, and will vote liberal (as they will extend unemployment benifits, ect...) from that point on. Basically, are they sky-rocketing the unemployment to gain votes?

Once a person starts recieving unemployment I would think the % is very low that they wouldnt vote to raise unemployment benifits/vote for people who will help raising unemployment benifits.

Just something to ponder.

You are close. They are trying to destroy the ENTIRE middle class as in Argentina. I guess then you all will realize what is going on, and help save this country! It will likely be too late then. SO ACT NOW!

Because in August it's too hot to have an insurrection.

I agree that he and the rest of the worthless libs / socialists / fascists are trying to ruin the middle class.

The more people of unemployment benefits the better. Who is gonna vote those giving them the hand out out of office?

What a pathetic bag of a$$ our nation is turning into.

I'm not sure what he is speaking of, but I increase personnel by about 30-40% in the summer. In the fall, kids go back to school, others quit, and I just don't hire anyone, but I never lay off.

The only good thing about this is that most of us have a job (with the exception of Ian ), and that this economy is now OWNED BY THE DEMS. This should help OUR cause, come 2010

I listen to talk radio everyday, and hear different scenarios from all of them. Some say this country has no chance if these things go through, some say that we're going to be fine. For the record, these people I'm talking about, the ones saying these things, are their guests usually. I hope it's the latter of the two

Some things, like government run healthcare, I just don't see how you backtrack on something like that, once its implemented
