One of the reasons for the drop in his approval rating is that a lot of liberals are just as unhappy with his policies as conservatives. They are complaining that he is not doing enough to implement things like the repeal of don't ask don't tell, single payer health care, and the closure of overseas detention centers. I think that a lot of people on both sides are unhappy with the incestuous relationship his administration has with Wall Street. Bottom line is if the economy still stinks in 3 years he's toast.
