Photoshop Skills.......

Now that we got this new forum i thought i would post some pics of some stuff i did way back in college... back then i was a 3d texture artist and all my textures were made by hand on photoshop... basicaly if i need something too look like wood i would go out and find something in real life like a tree and take a picture of it.. then bring it into photoshop and manipulate the crap out of it....

anyways... here is a couple of pics... let me know what you think...

I work with autocad and solidworks and 3d studio at work, but I cant figure out photoshop if my life depending on it! Nice work

yah this was 3dstudio max.... i hated modeling during college so i specialized in 3d texture and lighting.... so most of my work was on photoshop.. and back in those days it was photoshop 5.5 professional... and 3dmax 3

the texture suite for 3dmax was not that great so i had to manipulate a lot of stuff to make stuff work like water... man was that water a PITA to make look real.... i think it took me about 200+ hours to do all the textures and get the lighting right on the pool scene...

i cant find the video for both of those but in the video you can see the dust in the attic scene in the air and in the pool scene you can see the reflection ripple on the ceiling move to the water...

sorry for the long rant....
