hey guys, looking at repainting my truck sometime next week and would like to see how it looks in bright orange with both bumpers black and then see how it looks in bright orange both bumpers black and a strip of black along the bottom of it, thank you

ok, If you're going to go this route, which by the way, I think it would look awesome with that color combo, I would do the 05-07 front end first. Then you could color match the front grill. It's big and flat and would look much better than your current one. You could got with a black ford emblem on the front too. I would consider doing a dark metallic silver on the bottom and bumpers though. Really dark, but noticably not black. I would pull off your door handles and smooth them down and have them painted to match as well. Make sure thay are painted off the truck, not on it. Later, you can upgrade to tow mirrors and a level kit. Then an 08 bumper. And wheels and tires.

Or maybe consider selling that truck and buying a powerstroke, cause it looks like that one has the 5.4L in it. I think there's a couple for sale in the .org.

ok, thanks for the advice but im on a tight buget and painting it myself, cant afford the do the newer front end and leveling kit yet. its in my future plans. also it is the 7.3 powerstroke in it just and early 99 so it has the diffrent badges

yeah if you look closely about the v8 symbol you can see a split in the words. thats how i can tell at a glance when i see those trucks

BTW color combo idea will look awesome. specially if you get a vibrant orange. not a dull lustless one

yeah cause that is what orange vehicles are ment to do lol once the orange hit the truck it transforms it into part plane

ya i know what you mean about drawing attention. but im use to it since ive been driving my 54 around for the last two summers
