The stainless hold up way better than the wood. I've never owned a wood top but have seen enough boxes that have the wood tops and they look like hell in a year. Mine is a year old and yeah there are some scratches but I never pound on the top of my box. Plus when it's clean it looks so nice. But to each their own cause I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm just simply stating my opinion.

when it comes to shop boxes, Snap on is worth the bucks for sure. I feel that a shop box is something you should only have to buy ONCE. And Snap on krl series cabinets meet that criteria.
However, when it comes to road boxes, and I've had more than my share of them... they are all garbage. May as well buy the cheap ones, and replace them every couple years, than buy the high dollar "insert brand name here" boxes, and replace them every couple years. Nice toolbox man, hope it lasts a loooonng time. |
