? after coolant filter install

First off, superb design. The kit went on quickly and flawlessly. My question though is my EOT AND ECT have gone up about 10* since the install. Before the install my normal, around town driving net me an ECT in the mid to high 180* with the EOT being 8-10* higher. After the install my ECT is now in the mid to high 190* with the EOT still 8-10* higher. Have you ever heard of this before?
