If your interested I have an SCT X3 tuned by Jody Tipton. It was for my 7.3 so you would have to get a few new tunes from jody to make it work on your 6.0. Im selling my truck so I am willing to part with it. $320 shipped? Let me know

Thats not really true, as long as you are not abusing it you will be fine with out head studs on the streets tunes. Now if you are one of those that floors it from every stop light...then yes headstuds first IMO.

I don't have studs and run Innovative's Xtreme Race as my daily driver, and as has been said I don't dog it and have had zero problems. I think you should be OK, JMHO.

yah thats not entirely true.... headstuds start becoming a factor at around 400hp to the wheels.... some go and some dont... any of the innnovative extreme tunes will be in the 400+ range....

just do your X3 without any of the extreme tunes and you should be fine... their are a lot of people that run their tuners without studs.... also dont forget about gauges... far more important than studs... that should be your first buy
