and i just noticed i have enough parts left over to make a pair of 6" 45 degree slash cut stacks.

only "bad" thing about these is they are 6" all the way, but i do have a pair of 6 to 5" reducers that could be welded or clamped with a polished stainless band clamp i can get the clamps from work if needed.

i can make some one a hell of a deal on these!

hmmn i have some 7" defuser stacks that were took off some new petes, i may be able to get some of those from work. ill look into it.

if you havnt seen any of these yet, they have holes in the botom to let cool air in just like the stock tips on the 08+ powerstrokes.

if you're interested in something like that, let me know and i'll see if i can get them yet, they were being held for warranty.

yeah, as long as it's not slid or jumped on it's not going to hurt it....but if any body is scared of that...like i said i have three pair of these. the ones in the pictures are the only ones that have ever been out of the boxes. the other two pair (you can see laying in the back of my truck) will be the ones shipped out first.

well thats the thing...it's like a pipe inside a pipe for about a foot...so instead of blowing out these holes it creates a vacuum that sucks air into the pipe. it's kinda hard to explain without pictures.

they come stock on all the new trucks that have dpf's and a regen system too keep down the heat. i understand your concern but the only way to get smoke to come out those holes is to block off the big end.
