Superchips programmer

:handgrab:

I am not sure, but I think that once the programmer is used, it programs your V.I.N. into the computer and can't be used on another vehicle except to use the codes scanner. Check at Superchips Products / Home and they can tell you for sure. Hope it works out for ya.

Send a message via Yahoo to Dave
you can use them again if you return the original truck to stock. If that didnt happen you usually can ship them back to get reprogrammed

Chip programmer

Dave, thanks for the info. I have one in my 95 PSD F-350 and was told that I couldn't sell it later if not satisfied. It sure is great to have friends to help sort out the B.S.

Yea...it saves the orginal tune on the programmer and then downloads the performance tune on your computer. Then the programmer is considered "VIN Locked". But once you download the stock program back into your truck's computer.....the programmer is free and clear!!!!
