Yeah, I have had my '77 Ford that high and the landing about put me into a fence. I have had a '96 Stroker a couple feet off the ground and the landing wasn't bad because it was on a perfect downslope. How was the landing in your Super Duty? Unless it was on a nice downslope I am guessing it wasn't pretty or you weren't really 4 feet high.

The second time i hit a washout in a field that noone knew about and i don't know how high my wheels went, but everyone that seen it said that my headlights were pointing at the sky. All that did was knock the front alignment off some.

I jumped my dads 96 OBS 7.3. It wasn't to pretty I was in a field at night that was really muddy and I was in 2wd just sliding around and slid off the path and hit a big ditch I didn't know was there, it didn't hit the ditch as hard as it jumped back out of the ditch sent everyones heads flying into the roof.It busted the powersteering box and the steering column. Needless to say that truck didn't move from that spot that night.
Also on the raptor that new 6.2 liter motor would be a good start for a lightning just throw that in a 2wd version of a f150. 400hp is more than the old lightnings had. Last edited by 06pwrstrokerbullitt : 08-13-2009 at 10:29 PM. |
