Went to Boggs and Boulders

If any of you were following the thread about the "camping trip" we are trying to get together then you know Mean4.6 and myself were planning on going to Boggs and Boulders this past weekend. Well....we went and and had an absolute blast. It might have been the most fun I have had all summer. I can't wait to get everyone up there. I don't know if I can wait that long for the next trip. We had some minor carnage. Mean4.6 set his truck on one of his step bars and bent it pretty bad and at one point his O/D light was flashing, but went out and hasn't been back since. We both pulled out a lot of vehicles (In fact, by the end of Sunday, people were looking for us and riding up on their quads asking if we would go pull people out) We got lots of thumbs up and looks and quite a few "You're gonna take that truck where!?!" or "I can't believe you are actually doing that to your truck." We just asked them "Why else would you lift a truck? I don't need 37's to drive the highway to work!" I don't know I will beat on the truck quite as hard next time since I have a quad to tear up instead, but I'll still get out and have some fun. Here are some pictures for now and I will try and get some videos up sometime tomorrow. It'll give ya'll something to look forward to!

I knew this hole was pretty bad since Mean4.6 had pulled a Chevy out of it earlier....twice! Had to give it a shot anyway. I didn't do much better though. Haha

I was tearing around on the quad and thought momentum could get me through a deeper hole....Turns out it was a bit deeper than I thought and momentum just didn't cut it.

Man I have been siked about goin to this, not that NASCAR this weekend was bad but man thats a big coin to flip for me lol....

Hey that pic where Chris is washin the truck, is it sittin a lil low on the drivers side now or is my laptop not level?

Neither....The spot he's parked at isn't level under his rear tires.

Yeah, that step bar hit the door. Shoot....we had almost his whole truck resting on that at one point. I tried tp pull him back down the hill and it wasn't having any of that, it just started to pick his truck up....a slip of the throttle and I could have just rolled him down the hill. Had to reposition on the other side or the rocks and pull him straight back. No obvious body damage from the ordeal though. The step was the only casualty.
